Wisconsin-based startup accelerator gener8tor has unveiled the startups participating in its two gBETA spring cohorts in Bloomington-Columbus and Indianapolis. The organization says 10 participating startups represent a variety of industries, including finance, education and healthcare.
Mill member Ansley Fender, Founder and CEO of Atlas Solutions, is no stranger to risk. She’s been a homeless teenager, a classically trained violinist, a pregnant grad student, a small business owner, and now she’s a non-technical founder of a software as a service (SaaS) company that streamlines grant management.
The Bloomington-based startup, which was launched in 2019, received a $20,000 investment from Elevate Ventures’ Community Ideation Fund in late 2020. The funding allowed founder and CEO Ansley Fender to build basic software for the pilot program.
