- Entrepreneur
- 📍 Charleston, SC
Baird’s passion is in starting and scaling SaaS companies. He loves the creative side of entrepreneurship and tackling problems that don’t come with existing roadmaps.
As the CRO at Churnkey, he spends his time working with subscription business owners and operators to reduce churn and improve the health of their business.
Portfolio Highlights
Started a social network in 2015, helping sports fans connect in real-time via audio channels. Built a mobile-first B2C product with tens of thousands of users. Hard lessons learned. The product was acquired.
Pivoted some of his existing tech into Wavve.co, where the platform helps podcasts share clips of their show on social media. Scaled to 1M ARR and sold the company to Calm Capital in ’21 for a seven-figure exit.
Launched one of the first video captioning apps with Zubtitle.com. Pivoted to a social media video editing SaaS and scaled to over 1M ARR.
Took everything he learned fighting churn at his high-volume SaaS companies and rolled it into Churnkey.co. Churnkey now protects over 10 million subscriptions and works with some of the fastest-growing startups on the market.

As seen on
“By the fall of 2016, founders Nick Fogle and Baird Hall had spent around 18 months building a social sharing platform for podcasts, a project for which they couldn’t get paying customers or a minute of investors’ time.
Then they stumbled into a related product that brought in both revenue and acquisition offers.”
