AEY Inc. was a major weapons contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense, which became the basis for the 2016 film War Dogs.

Singular Sound is focused on making technology that empowers musicians to create better music. Its debut product, the BeatBuddy Drum Machine Guitar Pedal, was one of the most successful music accessory crowdfunding campaigns in history. The BeatBuddy went on to receive every major recognition in the musical instrument industry, from the industry’s highest honor of “Best in Show” at the National Association of Music Merchants to Guitar World’s Platinum Award for Excellence, and also induction into the Guitar Player’s Hall of Fame in 2015.

As the 50-day campaign closed Tuesday evening, he had raised $349,236 from 1,802 funders. That’s a 466 percent increase.”

“BeatBuddy has partnered with Guitars Over Guns (GOGO) to help the talented young musicians who are part of the non-profit organization.

GOGO is designed to engage youth through teaching music, dance and visual arts. It is called “Guitars Over Guns” as it encourages young musicians to stay in school avoiding gang membership in at-risk areas.”
