Eddy took over a low-profile White House Initiative and re-established it as the focal point for domestic policy discussion and economic development within the Asian American/Pacific Islander community. He also developed a Report to President Bush on the economic development and community empowerment challenges and successes in the Asian American community, and served as the primary surrogate for communicating the Administration’s domestic policy agenda to Asian American and international audiences.
