Joris Delanoue

CEO and Co-founder, Fairmint General Director and Board Member, Canton Foundation

Joris Delanoue is co-founder and CEO of Fairmint, the first onchain transfer agent. Registered with the SEC, Fairmint builds the stack for onchain equity capital markets.

For almost a decade, Joris has worked toward a model in which the blockchain is the authoritative record of ownership. Fairmint makes that record official, so shares can be issued, administered, financed and transferred against one regulated system of record.

Billions of dollars in company and fund equity have moved onchain through Fairmint. The company publishes the Open Captable Protocol, the open standard for interoperable, programmable book-entry equity, and is an active member of the Open Cap Table Coalition, the 30-member group behind the standard. Fairmint is the first to operate it onchain.

Joris is an elected General Director and board member of the Canton Foundation, where he works with institutions and infrastructure providers advancing privacy-enabled, interoperable financial markets. Fairmint also owns The RWA Desk, a private events and media platform connecting senior leaders across Wall Street and blockchain finance.

Before moving to the US, Joris founded and exited two technology companies in Europe. He has spent more than two decades building, investing in and advising technology companies.
