Katina Sawyer, PhD, is the co-founder of Workr Beeing, a workplace wellness insights company.
Workr Beeing focuses on translating the science of workplace wellness to employees everywhere. Workr Beeing hosts a blog and podcast, and delivers corporate speaking engagements, retreats, and trainings for enhancing workplace wellness.
Dr. Sawyer is also an Assistant Professor of Management at The George Washington University School of Business. She has presented her original research across the country and internationally and has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers on workplace wellness-related topics.
She has also written articles for non-academic audiences, including for the Harvard Business Review. Prior to working at GWU, she was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Villanova University.
She was awarded 40 Under 40 in Philadelphia by the Philadelphia Business Journal in 2017. She holds a dual-Ph.D. in Psychology and in Gender and Women's Studies from the Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Villanova University.
