If you follow MMA than you know Eliot Marshall, if MMA isn’t your thing, then you still need to know Eliot Marshal.
This Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt was born and bred in New Jersey and brought his East Coast flare to Denver 20 years ago.
A little about Eliot: He was the first American athlete to earn IBJJF Pan American titles as a blue, purple and brown belt. He is a former UFC light heavyweight fighter turned coach, author, speaker, philanthropist and all-around standup guy.
When Eliot is not running the Easton Training Center in Denver, Colorado, he is active in the local community where his voice is not only heard but valued.
In 2019, Eliot launched his first book, The Gospel of Fire – Strategies for Facing your Fears, Confronting your Fears, and Finding your Purpose.
The book is a deep dive into Eliot’s personal story, in which he chooses to understand and grow with his bouts of anxiety and depression. The Gospel of Fire is an account of the human experience and how our mind has the power to drive use to accomplish incredible achievements while also taking us to the darkest places imaginable.

Peter is the founder of Yaza, the world's first app for secure, authenticated videos on maps.
Peter's audience on social media is greater than 100,000 and he is happy to promote the episode to his fans!
I am a product-focused entrepreneur who has started four companies, all of which were acquired. I closed the first round of funding for my fifth startup, Yaza, in September 2018.
My expertise covers all aspects of designing, building, launching, growing and monetizing great products, designing and scaling organizations to support those products, and making them profitable.
I volunteer my time mentoring startup founders at the European Innovation Academy and StartOut Growth Lab, where as of summer 2019 we've graduated 24 companies that together have closed more than $43M in funding and created more than 170 new jobs.
I studied computer science at Cornell, have a masters degree in CSAI (Computer Science Artificial Intelligence) from Stanford, and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Outside of work, I am a passionate world traveler. I've flown more than 4 million miles and visited over 30 countries. My terrestrial adventures have taken me from 150 feet below sea level in Palau to 18,000 feet above in the Nepal Himalaya.
I believe that entrepreneurship provides a path to economic self-empowerment that doesn't require people to "fit in" with the traditional corporate grind. It offers a path to success and fulfillment for dreamers, big thinkers, innovators and creative people who want to have an impact on the world.

I am a startup ninja.
I know how to dig into any idea and find the gold, the killer feature, the thing users absolutely cannot live without... And I know how to help entrepreneurs turn their idea into a business that will make real money.
I started coding when I was 8 years old, and over the past several decades have learned what great technology implementations look like from some of the smartest people in the industry. My first two companies were all about web design and development and finding ways to help companies come into the new era of promoting and doing business on the web, and it turns out, I have a natural knack for business.
My past experience building my own startups gave me a lens through which to examine what would work for other business types in tech and how to apply those processes and methodologies for other people who have great tech ideas.
I developed the curriculum for the Raika Technologies and GotAnAppIdea.com Startup Program based on what I've done in my own companies and those of our clients, all for one guiding purpose: to help new app and tech entrepreneurs spend as little time and money as possible evaluating their idea, helping them get to a go-no-go decision quickly and efficiently. I also developed a process to help stakeholders, Project Managers, Product Managers and IT professionals at all size companies test new ideas without impacting their teams, road maps and corporate priorities. I help companies and entrepreneurs get things done!

Hi, I’m Ellie, founder and CEO of an innovative online recruiting platform— Intro30.com. The platform allows job seekers to record an online video introduction as part of a shareable profile including a resume. Candidates can then submit these profiles to companies, add them to their resumes and have direct access to the jobs and companies on Intro30.
On the demand side, Intro30 will enable companies to view a candidate’s 30-second elevator pitch, search the database by keyword, location or skillset and reach out to learn more about them. Companies can also list their jobs, market them and share them with QR codes, and attract candidates directly.
I’ve been a recruiter all over the world, from the UK to the Middle East, to Asia and now Silicon Valley for nearly 20 years, allowing me to gain expertise in a variety of recruiting environments, including banking, sovereign wealth funds, tech, and finance.

A bit about my new book, The Future of Extraordinary Design available now on Amazon.
The Future of Extraordinary Design is a companion guide for designers who are at the stage in their career where they’re starting to question the status quo. This book will help you explore and conceptualize your ideas on design thinking, to produce a more robust individual design identity.
The Future of Extraordinary Design is your practical guide to a more holistic, sustainable, innovative future.
We explore three main ideas:
- Why is standardization, an utterly unattractive and unexciting word, connected to global success phenomena?
- Who is the human in Human-Centered Design and can we segregate a human from their environment?
- And just where does the designer’s role in society lie – how can we as designers make the world a better place?
Hi I’m Nik Parekh and I would love to be considered as a guest on your podcast.
Looking back through some of the greatest cultural and commercial successes we see patterns emerging that tell us so much about human desire and motivation. Taking into account psychological and anthropological theories, we uncover some fascinating insights into the people we are and the world we live in.
Living in a time of exponential technological and social change, it's not enough to accept without questioning the theories of design we are given. It's time for designers such as us to explore the future of extraordinary design.
Thank you

It all began as a farmers daughter, the grand finale of 6 kids.
We were raised with strong work ethics and integrity.
As I have gone through life I have gone into many different industries and perfected my career in each before moving on to the next learning experience.
I created Smokin Mary by accident in my quest for 'there's got to be a better way'.
Meaning I knew I could do better than what was on the market and even better than what was being served in many bars/restaurants.
I began the mission…
5 yrs later, 16 revisions later, I took it to market.
Never having been in the food industry, boy did I have a rude awakening.
This industry is crazy hard. So much to know and learn and no manual to learn from.
Along with this I was in a period self awareness and reflection on all the things I have accomplished in my life.
I asked my self many times...'
Why am I doing all this? Why am I all over the board of industries?' The answer I came to made sense…
it is so that I can help other women to create whatever business they are passionate about and how to be successful at it.
After all if I wanted to help others, I had to first experience it myself.
Part of my reflection was when I was a single mother raising my son and not having enough money to make ends meet and…
no child support! Many call me an inspiration and have surprised me by telling me that I inspired them to do something in particular.
What an honor.
I am fun and fun loving and always a great interview and truly grateful for all my experiences.
There is a silver lining in every one of them.
