Founder Foto Weert

During the photography transition from analog to digital, I realized the future would a hybrid of online and offline. While everybody in retail was busy launching pure (online) players, I focused on leveraging the online presence for my brick & mortar retail stores.

Leveraging Google search for local searches and price comparison websites to drive a ton of traffic as people still preferred to get info online but spend their money in a retail store. This was digital marketing before it was digital marketing.

The business grew quickly as I was one of the first in the Netherlands to have click-and-collect where you could reserve online and pick-up instore.

Ask me

What makes networking valuable?
Why did 3D Printing fail to live up to the hype?
RFID, NFC, isn't that "old tech"?
You moved from Europe (The Netherlands, Amsterdam) to NYC, what surprised you?
