As a young boy, Dr. Rahban was naturally drawn towards art and architecture. These talents led him to receive numerous awards for his artistic and architectural designs.  Alongside his love for architecture and art, came his passion for medicine. As he nurtured his passion, Dr. Rahban quickly learned that plastic surgery was the perfect blend of art and science, making it the ideal career. 

Training

Becoming a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon is a vigorous process. It requires extensive education and additional years of training specifically in cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Rahban is well-educated, attending some of the top tier schools in the nation. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in Biochemistry and ranked top 10% of his class at UCSD School of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Rahban was selected from a handful of students in the nation to participate in an Accelerated Plastic Surgery Residency program through the USC Keck School of Medicine where he excelled as the Chief Resident.   

After completing residency, Dr. Rahban dedicated an additional year to refining his knowledge and skills. Although his training was one of the best, he felt there were elements lacking in aesthetics. To fill these gaps, Dr. Rahban completed an apprenticeship under the acclaimed Dr. Garth Fisher – the surgeon from the hit show Extreme Makeover.  

Shortly thereafter, Dr. Rahban opened his own practice, leveraging his educational background with his immense training. He has since become widely recognized for his extraordinary natural results with mommy makeovers, rhinoplasties, and breast augmentations among many other successful procedures.

Dr. Rahban’s hard work, perseverance and commitment to his passion is the reason he has perfected his craft. His dedication to his profession and patients are unparalleled. He has always pushed for and continues to push for excellence.

Some surgeons use their assistants to help expedite the operating process and cost, whereas Dr. Rahban does all the suturing and closing for each procedure and patient himself, every single time. Dr. Rahban’s meticulous and overachieving nature won't allow for anything but the best, hence the hundreds of happy patients.

Although Dr. Rahban has become the "go-to" guy for revision surgeries, he is on a mission to put an end to the "revision epidemic" by dedicating countless hours educating consumers on the traps and stipulations of cosmetic procedures. He has created his very own riveting podcast called Plastic Surgery Uncensored where he discusses openly and honestly about the ins and outs of plastic surgery. He also highlights the positive, life changing impacts plastic surgery has had on thousands of patients. 

Kindness

Dr. Rahban has always made it a priority to help those less fortunate. Despite his thriving practice, Dr. Rahban carves out time annually to travel to impoverished countries volunteering through various organizations such as HELPS, and Operation Smile. He has visited numerous countries like Guatemala, El Salvador, Haiti, Colombia, and many more. 

Over the years he has brought unconditional joy to many children and families by performing cleft lip and palate reconstruction surgeries.
