"The biggest benefit of the media training was helping me pin down the stories that might resonate with the audience the most. I had a lot of content to pick from that we could discuss, Kitcaster helped me zoom in on the few points to address that would make an intriguing conversation. Conversely, artificial intelligence (my area of expertise) is a controversial topic in some ways, so the media training allowed me to learn how to address those topics tactfully without risking offending the audience.

I took the notes from the media training to heart. I've noticed that for these last couple of podcasts, I don't really have to prepare anymore. I put the advice into practice on the first few podcasts, and the conversations seem to flow much more naturally.

I would encourage everyone to participate in the media training, whether it's a first-time lesson or a primer. What is taught in that training has value way beyond podcasting, and anyone who is customer-facing can benefit from it. There were a lot of principles in the training that wasn't exactly intuitive to me at the time but came in extremely useful when put into practice for a live show."
